Blog Assignment #10: Everything I did, I did for my family...

This is the tenth and final blog for English class.

The experience of making these blogs is very good, because I've learned to develop skills that previously I dot not knew. Furthermore, it is very entertaining to write about different topics, such as, who I am, where I like to live, on my career, a photo, my favorite book, my favorite piece technological, among others. 

I think this experience has helped me greatly in to write in English and learn more vocabulary, but often I have to occupy translator, but overall I can write the basics and understand what I write and read other blogs with some facility.

I would like to include in the future, write more blogs, because it is very entertaining, but as we have done it is fine. 

I would like write about what really excites us, such as our hobbies, also about our family, or about our pets. I would also like to talk about my favorite food, it's very simple, I love the noodles and pizza.

Writing in a blog, I think it's wonderful, I think it is very personal but we can share with the rest.

If I had to qualify this method of work to learn English, I'd rate note 7 hahaha.

Blog Assignment #9-Home is Where the Heart Is

My dream house would be a very big house with white and red, among others, with a very big garden where we can play and do parties, a swimming pool and BBQ, to share with family and friends.

Inside the home, I want to have a kind of cinema for see all the movies, also,  have a big jacuzzi, and more than 4 bedrooms, each with private bathroom and one common bathroom. 

I do not know where it would be located, the house would be here in santiago chile by modernity or south of the country in a rural location away from stress.

Or live abroad as somewhere in the Caribbean at the same time that is near the city and near the beach.

This home would be special because it would reflect all the effort of my studies and work, have a big family with children and also to invite the family to spend some time at home and invite my friends to parties.

I want to have a very modern house especially my bedroom, but first I must work hard and save money a long time to carry out this dream home, where is surrounded by palm trees, beach and sun.

Blog Assignment #8-Trip Out!

I would travel to Colombia but this time go to Cartagena or San Andres because the last time I went to this country I could not go to these places, then I would go to enjoy these Caribbean locations.

Also I would go to Brazil because I would love the opportunity to enjoy Carnaval de Río de Janeiro and the beach.  Also, I would go to the U.S. for its ultra-modern cities like New York, spend a few nights for its bohemian places and also I would like to go to Disneyland. I love to go to Africa to share the black race, enjoy nature, animals, their giraffes and elephants, and because I like to have a son who is swarthy.also go to Paris in France, because say it's the city of love, and I would really like to know Eiffel Tower. and finally I would go to Australia in Oceania, beautiful and modern city. I would like to meet kangaroos. I like to travel accompanied with a friend or with my boyfriend, because I like to share best experiences with someone, also it is much more fun to travel with someone elseI Would like to stay in each place at least a week, there are places that I would like to stay a long time  such as in Cartagena de Indias, Paris or Brazil. I would go to all these places by air and some of the countries to navigate a very large ship. First I would go to Colombia then to United States, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to Africa, then to Australia, then to Paris and then would return to Brazil to return to my country, Chile.

  

Blog Assignment #7-Freedom Comes at the End of a Gun

I love writing.

I have a notebook, a type of diary, where I write to trace, of things that are happening to me about my life.

I write since I was 14 years old, when I was in school. 

I have two notebooks where I have written  different areas of my life.

I started writing because I found a very good way of relief, in addition to the great cause, tell my stories of love. 

In these books are found my secrets. therefore I try to hide it very well, because I consider it one of my greatest treasures. My expectation is that when I am very old, I can read or listen by someone's  the words and stories written, and remember my adolescence and youth.

I must confess that it scares me that my mother or father can locate the books because there are very private things. I love writing my stories of love, when  are going well or when they go bad, I just want the stories stay in a couple of pages and the corresponding date. Also write all outputs with my friends and family and many other things.

Blog Assignment #6: My Career is in Gear

Nicolas Maquivelo.

Nicolas Maquiavelo was born on May 3, 1469 in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Republic of Florence, died June 21, 1527 (58 years), Republic of Florence.
He was a diplomat, public official, Italian political philosopher and writer. He was also a relevant figure of the Italian Renaissance. In 1513 he wrote his political  doctrine titled The Prince, published posthumously in 1531 in Rome.
Maquiavelo is very important because it is one of the precursors of political science, so that influences my area of study. I entered this career for political science. In addition, in the first year of the race I was made read his most important work, The Prince, where there must be a prince with great virtues to guide the form of government that Maquiavelo proposed, called La Republica.
Today, Nicolas Maquiavelo, is recognized as one of the great philosophers of history and the Renaissance, also by studying his works and his legacy on them: the form of government, The Republic
I met to Nicolas, when I was in high school, in philosophy, then in at university, in History of Political Thought, where I had to read The Prince.

Blog Assignment #5: A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words

This photo was taken by a friend in a pub in Candelarias, Bogota. It was eight months ago, when I traveled to Colombia to present a research, to the Latin American Political Science Congress with two classmates.

In this photo I appear enjoying a delicious beer called Red Hades, in a Monday night with my teammates.

 This photo represent the great taste I have for beer and especially craft beer .

I like this photo because it represents the joy and fun I had on this trip to Colombia, not only for its bohemian nights, but also for having known its beautiful places and I to have learned much in the congress of political science.

The trip was over 8 days and it was in September 2013.

This photo represent all the effort I had to make to pay for the tickets and stay during these 8 days.  I made 3 events to raise money : sell hotdogs , make a mega party and sell lunches.

Favourite Book

Youth in Ecstasy.

Youth in Ecstasy is a book written by Carlos Cuauhtemoc Sanchez and is one of my favorite books.

I had never had the opportunity to read it, but I had always heard of that. 

One day I realized that the book was in the library of my house one summer and decided to read it because I was interested in the plot.

This is a young man named Efrén Alvear is living his mid-teens , where the most important thing for him was to have sex with different women, regardless of the risks that this could make you (illness ) .

One day he meets a girl, who is medical office desk where he goes for having a sexual transmitted disease with another girl. For Efrén falls in love with the receptionist called Dhamar , is where Efren starts to realize true love and otherwise in the book begins to address the three fundamental pillars of a relationship, which are: emotional intimacy , intellectual affinity and chemical attraction .

This book is well known, is read in schools. So I would continue this practice, and also continue to recommend it to my friends, family, etc.. Because it serves a lot in relationships, and personal level.

Blog Assignment #3 My favourite piece of technology!

Since I was in fifth grade I use this type of product, so I've had about eight phones. I have lost a few, others I have been spoiled, and others I have just changed to new models or brands.
I use it all the time, from Monday to Sunday, in every hour, it's like my faithful companion, as it is always there when you need them because they have different applications, which use most of the day like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram , Google, Gmail and Hotmail. Also typical applications such as camera, music, messages, and downloads.
My life without my phone would be very different because I'm used to have it since I was very young, I also facilitates communication is paramount that this device, call my relatives, friends and my boyfriend.

My expectations for this semester 2014 are: 

pass all my classes again; administrative theory , theory of science , administrative law , microeconomics , basic statistics and English. So I'm comfortable with my classes because I am following the curriculum regularly.

I hope that the different classes are not made me very hard , but I know they are complex, endless readings they give us. 

The time that I have I not accommodate much, as we come to school after lunch and we leave at 7:30 p.m , so I get very tired at the house wanting to sleep , so I hope I alcanse time to study and do the things that I usually do , for example, to share with my family , boyfriend and friends .

Also, I am currently participating in a soccer tournament , in university, then I hope I go well with my team .

This semester , I hope to learn a lot more than the last, have good academic performance ; not have as much stress, and to have university life accordingly.

Mi name is Estefany Catalina ÑAnculef Beltrán. I was born in Santiago, Chile on October 25th, 1994.
I live with my parents, my three brothers and my niece in San Ramón, Santiago City.
In the basic education I estudied in a school called Rosa Marckmann, then, in highschool I estudied at the Liceo Carmela Carvajal and 2013 I entered to the Universidad de Chile, where I'm currently studying Public Administration and Political Science.
My pastimes over these nearly 20 years, is being a fan of the football team of my country, called Colo Colo. Also, I studied theater for four years where I discovered my great personality and character.
Today, I'm studying second year of university.
